Contributions made to the website are encouraged, providing they are made in a responsible manner and are in no way inaccurate, defamatory or misleading.
whatzwhere.co.uk reserves the right, without any obligation whatsoever, to review, correct, remove or modify any content submitted to the website.
By submitting a review rating to the website you are accepting that your name and email address will become available to the company you review, and your name will be displayed on the website under the business listings review page.
The Information you provide in relation to your business must be accurate and truthful. All listings will go through a review process from our support team before going live to the site.
By default, when you sign up to whatzwhere.co.uk as a business you accept that your company can be reviewed by your customers and other users of the site. We reserve the right to remove any reviews that we believe haven't been posted by the customers themselves or where we believe the reviews may not be genuine.
If your company receives a negative review, you have the ability to respond underneath the review, posting your side of the story. It's very possible that you can turn the bad review into a positive situation by publicly demonstrating your level of customer support. Please note that we have implemented many automated checks and controls which help us to identify false, inaccurate and offensive reviews before they even go live.
Rules for reviews -
a) All reviews that are submitted to whatzwhere.co.uk must be constructive and legitimate, i.e. they describe what products / services were received (or not received) and objectively explain why the customer was happy or not. Reviews which don't conform to these rules may be removed.
b) At our discretion, reviewers who make personal attacks on individuals will have their reviews removed.
c) Negative reviews will only be removed from a company's profile if :
- They are posted under a false name and the email address has not been verified.
- They are not constructive as described in point a) above.
d) Reviews flagged by our verification process and support team, will not be unflagged.
e) We reserve the right to remove any reviews that do not conform to our terms and conditions without any recourse or communication with the company the review was written about, or the reviewer.
All members and listing owners on the site will have the option to choose how long they would like to list their business for, with each option having possible associated costs. All payments are securely taken via Paypal, which is the only payment portal we currently offer.
No payment data is stored within whatzwhere.co.uk and payments are only accepted via Paypal.
As we may charge up front for a set length of time, we have a 'no refund' policy, meaning your listing will stay active until the end of the period which has been paid for, unless you request for it to be removed.
In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to close a member's account without any claim to a refund if we find that they are in breach of the terms and conditions of the site.
Featured listings can take up to 48 hours to go live to our site from date of payment and details provided. Once your listing has run past its expiry, you will have first refusal to keep your featured listing place, before it is offered to another member.
Featured listing members are bound by the terms and conditions of the site (as stated on this page) in the same way as any other site user.
1. General
a) Factual claims or offers made must be credible, current, and accurate. Misleading or inaccurate adverts will be rejected.
b) The weblink included in your listing must be relevant to the text of the listing.
c) Listings must not promote any products or services which are illegal in the UK.
d) Listings must not contain links to harmful websites, malware, spyware or anything similar.
2. Image Guidelines
a) Any images which you upload with your listing must be your own property or you must have permission from the owner of the image to use it for advertising purposes.
b) Copyrighted or trademarked images or text are not permitted unless you or your company owns the relevant copyright or trademark.
c) Images must be suitable for all ages to view.
d) Images must be relevant to the text content of the listing.
e) Images must not be displayed sideways or upside down.
f) Images must be of reasonably good quality - blurred, unclear or unrecognisable images will not be accepted.
g) Images must not consist solely of text.
3. Text Guidelines
a) The text of your listing must be written in English and obey the basic rules of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Our support team will correct obvious spelling or grammatical errors and will remove excess or inappropriate punctuation.
b) Adverts must not be written in BLOCK CAPITALS. Our support team will edit adverts to remove any inappropriate use of upper case text.
c) Please use only the allocated sections for including your weblink and/or telephone number. Please do not include weblinks, telephone numbers, or email addresses in the body text or headline of your advert. Should these be added into the description of your business, we retain the right to remove this content from your listing.
If you see any content on the site that is incorrect, is illegal or breaches anyone else's rights, please contact us. Every listing published on the site has an appropriate 'Report as incorrect' button to report this content to our support team.
whatzwhere.co.uk may change, alter or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes to these Terms will be posted on the website. If you do not agree to Terms on this page, you should cease use of the website.
