The Pink Giraffe Chinese Restaurant

A fusion of oriental taste can be found in the restaurant's menu as the chefs are from China - Hong Kong and Malaysia, where a wide range of savoury, spicy and sweet dishes have many different forms of cooking techniques. 

Originally first opened in 1998, this was solely a vegetarian restaurant, hence the vegetarian giraffe's association with the naming of the restaurant, and the colour pink was relevant because it is the owners favourite colour. The Pink Giraffe was to be a destination restaurant that was truly unique where a differential vegetarian menu was of paramount importance, as there were no restaurants that catered specifically for vegetarians in Oxford. Since then, they have branched out into catering for other guests apart from just vegetarians and have included meat, fish and poultry into the menu. The vegetarian menu not only comprises of the usual vegetable dishes, but of soya meats too.

They have an expanding group of customers that are located in and around Oxford, including Abingdon, Wheatley, Didcot, Botley, Henley and Reading. 

The restaurant is managed by a team of like minded individuals who has been involved in the Chinese industry for many years.
